Hi friendly deviants! Big news today!
I've been inactive for nigh on ~three years by this point, and since my life is in wrack and ruin right now (the horror!), I've decided it's time for a fresh start. Though I doubt I have many watchers or visitors these days, I've decided to post one last journal entry before I deactivate my account. Two items of business remain, however, before I commit to this irreversible decision.
First, I'm going to deactivate my account sometime in the next few weeks. If you still want to follow me - I'm hoping that a clean slate will boost my productivity - please note me and I'll send you my username once the new profile's up.
And secondly, I apologize to all of the people who have requested or commissioned art from me. I am simply crumbling under the stress of my own life right now and I cannot fulfill these requests, although I'm deeply touched by your attention to my art. I hope you understand and, again, I beg forgiveness. On the off-chance that I do happen to complete one of these pieces, I will be sure to notify you.
That's all folks! Here's to a great last five years on deviantArt! I hope I will continue to have as much fun and support with this community as ever

Hiatus, and...

Hello fellow deviants. I have two important notes today.
The first is that I'll be on hiatus for the next three months, as I'll be traveling around Europe, which is very, very exciting.
The second is that I've been fighting with depression for a little while now and have only recently really admitted it to myself.
These two factors together explain why, for the next few months, I won't be producing any art, and all requests are on hold. I will list the usernames of those who have requested art from me at the end of this journal entry to keep track of them. I cannot guarantee that when I return I will be in the right state of mind to chip away at these requests, but that is the hope. If you feel that you would like to cancel your request, please leave a comment on this journal and I'll know not to follow up on your drawing when I get back.
I wish you all a happy three months and I will see you when I get back!

I'm off on a trip to lovely Vancouver! ...where I'll be staying at a great-aunt's house with potentially no Internet for three weeks. Which is fine by me, but TheDoctor50, you're going to be lonely without me 
Anyways, I thought I had broken my massive artblock a month ago but apparently it's as bad as it has ever been. Just wanted to shout out to VixenDra and thetonyhoun - Anna, your request is still in the same place, I'm afraid, and thetonyhoun, I still haven't started yours. Thank you both for your patience. If either of you aren't interested in having me draw your OCs please let me know, and I apologize if that's because of my massive delays.
In other news, Jason Brown is a seriously amazing ice skater. Go check him out, fellows!

At Last!

I've been anticipating a return to deviantArt for weeks, and I'm fiiiiiiiiinally back! (Not that I'm expecting anyone to read this journal entry.)
It's been over three years since I last posted a deviation; needless to say, life has been moving on in the meantime. New fandoms include Sherlock and Doctor Who, so watch out for those.
I'm trying to sketch a little bit every few days without committing to a really big project, so my uploads may be boring at first.
Finally, a shoutout to raspberrygoop - I hope you're still around, my friend.
